Obituary for Chloe Franks
Dear Sweet Chloe,
Thank you for being our precious fur baby for 17 years. We remember the day you came home to us, just a little ball of fur. You made us laugh and cry, and you brought us immense joy. We felt lost when you were at the groomer for one day; we can’t imagine how empty our house will be without you forever. Your personality just seemed to fill the room. We will miss your funny way of talking to us, your love of peanuts cracked right out of the shell, your insatiable love of watermelon, barking at Lynn for french fries, standing right under our feet in the kitchen, the way you lead us into the kitchen for a treat by barking as loud as possible, the way you sniffed every grocery bag when we came home from the store, the soft velvety feel of your fur after a groom, family hugs with you right in the middle, and your gleeful welcome every time we came home.
Your heart was failing and you just couldn’t hold on anymore. We are so glad we were with you at the end. So glad you did not go alone. Even though our hearts were breaking, we knew we had to help you go. Sweet dreams, precious puppy. We will meet you in heaven some day. Keep the couch warm and save some peanuts for us.
Love, your family,
Dad Michael, Mom Beth, and human Sister, Lynn.
